SMA gives legal advice on all matters regarding the protection and infringement of intellectual property rights. Such practice area extends from advising upon the existence and enforceability of such rights, the drafting all relevant and related agreements (assignments, licences, transfer of technology, etc.), conflict resolution, through to the development of protection and exploitation strategies for both intellectual and industrial property.
Within SMA's activities in this field the services provided by the Patents and Trademarks Registration Department deserve a specific mention.
